Interviewer: How did Williams & Yoho Law get started?
Williams & Yoho Law: My law partner and I met on the very first day of law school — before classes even began. We hit it off immediately. Ironically, we both swore we’d never do personal injury law. But during school, we each ended up interning at personal injury firms, and that changed everything. After several years working for large firms, we realized we shared the same vision: we wanted to build something different. Over lunch one day, we sketched out the idea for Williams & Yoho Law on a napkin. We knew we could provide a better experience for clients — one that’s personal, transparent, and results-driven.
Interviewer: What makes your partnership unique?
Williams & Yoho Law: We’ve known each other for years, so our communication is effortless. We know each other’s strengths and weaknesses and work in sync. Clients often say they feel that energy when they meet us. At big firms, clients might meet their attorney once. With us, they meet both founding partners and get direct answers from both. That collaboration creates confidence — our clients leave knowing two attorneys are fully invested in their case, not just one.
Interviewer: Why did you want to create a different kind of law firm?
Williams & Yoho Law: We both came from large firms where injured clients rarely met their attorney. They’d speak to intake specialists, assistants, and case managers — sometimes six or seven people — before ever talking to the lawyer handling their file. It didn’t sit right with us. Clients deserve more than that. So we built a firm where every client works directly with the attorney responsible for their case from start to finish.
Interviewer: How does that personal approach benefit your clients?
Williams & Yoho Law: Personal attention means better results. When we know our clients, we understand their story — what they’re going through, how their injuries affect their life and family — and that makes for stronger representation. Clients can trust us to handle the legal details while they focus on recovery.
Interviewer: Why do you say clients “don’t get lost in the big firm shuffle”?
Williams & Yoho Law: Because we’ve seen firsthand what happens when they do. Our paralegal, Ashley, joined us after years at large firms because she wanted to make a real difference. She even lost her brother in a car crash and saw how impersonal big firms could be. Her passion reinforces our mission: no client should ever feel like a case number. Every client we help matters — and we treat them that way.
